源氏物語シリーズも最後のセットに近づいてきました。
今回は匂宮です。
源氏物語「宇治十帖」において、その名の通り歩くたびに芳しい香りが漂うほどの美貌と華やかさを放つ匂宮。このセットは、彼が纏う贅を尽くした装束の彩りや、物語の舞台となる宇治の自然、そして、彼の心に宿る「止むことのない情熱」をイメージして染めました。
宇治の山々を渡る風や、若々しく奔放な彼のエネルギーをグリーン系の単色と段染め糸に、
一つだけ暖色系の糸は、夕日に染まる川面から、薫への対抗心、情熱的な恋を追い求める心を映し、セットに温度を加えています。
高貴な香りを焚きしめて香らせる皇子としての貴賓と、どこか憂いを含んだ雅さを思いながらブルー系の単色と段染めで表現しました。
千年の時を超える源氏物語の物語をイメージして染め上げたセット、
ぜひお使いいただけると嬉しいです。

刺し子、こぎん刺し、ダーニング、てまり、刺繍など、幅広くお使い頂ける綿糸です。
大切に染めていますが、手染めなので色ムラがあったり、糸の継ぎ目がある場合があります。
濃い色は色落ちすることが可能性としてございます。
また、染める際の枷により色の違いが見られます。
手染め、手仕事ゆえですが、ご理解いただける方にお求めいただけますと幸いです。
なるべく実物の色味をお伝えできるよう努めて撮影していますが、ブラウザの違いなどにもより、若干の違いがみられる場合があります。

This hand-dyed set is inspired by Prince Niou from the Uji Chapters of The Tale of Genji.
Renowned for his radiant beauty and the noble fragrance said to accompany him, Niou no Miya embodies youthful elegance and passionate love.
The green solid and variegated threads evoke the windswept mountains of Uji and his vibrant, free spirit.
A single warm-toned thread reflects the river glowing at sunset—his rivalry with Kaoru and his ardent heart.
Blue tones express his refined grace as an imperial prince, touched with a gentle melancholy.
Dyed in homage to this thousand-year-old classic,
I hope you enjoy stitching with this set.

Although it is carefully dyed, there may be uneven color or thread seams because it is hand-dyed.
Dark colors may fade.
Differences in color can also be seen depending on the shackles used during dyeing.
