源氏物語シリーズより、浮舟に注目して染めたセットです。
宇治川の川霧が立ち込める中、二人の貴公子の間で激しく揺れ動き、やがて自らの意志で静かな終焉へと身を任せたヒロイン・浮舟。
このセットは、そんな彼女の儚くも美しい情景を、一筋の糸に託して染め上げました。
黄色；浮舟の運命を照らすひとすじの光のようなレモンイエロー、
グレー×オレンジ；宇治川に差し込む夕陽をイメージして染めた、グレーとオレンジの段染めは
寒色と暖色が共存していて、混じり合う針目で奥行きが生まれます。
青系ラメ；常に浮舟の傍らにあった宇治川。その水面が、朝の光や月明かりを受けてキラキラと瞬く瞬間を青系のラメ糸に閉じ込めました。
虹色段染め；浮舟が身にまとっていた雅な装束（衣）と、その下で激しく揺れ動く感情をイメージした虹色の巻は、花々のような華やかさの陰に、どこか儚い「惑い」の色が見え隠れします。
匂宮の情熱的な愛、薫の静かな慈愛。二人の間で引き裂かれる彼女の心を、あえて調和させすぎない多色のグラデーションで表現しました。
淡いオレンジベージュのたゆたう染め；淡いトーンのたゆたう染めは、物語の終盤、浮舟が宇治の喧騒を離れ、静かな庵で迎えた清々しい朝の光をイメージしました。同系色の淡いトーンを重ねることで、単色では決して出せない「奥行き」と「温もり」を持たせました。
ピンク系段染め；派手な赤ではなく、少し茶色味を帯びた「アンティークなピンク」から「深い珊瑚色」へのグラデーションの糸は、物語の中で姿を消した浮舟を追い求める人々が、彼女のいた場所に微かに感じた気配や、残り香をイメージしました。
若さゆえの瑞々しさと、宇治の厳しい自然の中で育まれた、しっとりとした大人の女性らしさが混ざり合った色です。千年の時を経ても色褪せない、彼女の存在感をこの一束に込めました。
千年の時を超えて愛される『浮舟』の物語に想いを馳せ、その一端を糸に託させていただきました。
私一人の手では、まだ物語の断片に過ぎません。 皆様の針仕事によってこの糸たちが布の上で新たな命を吹き込まれ、 皆様だけの『浮舟』の物語として完成させていただけたなら、これほど幸せなことはありません。 静かな手仕事のお供にそっと添えていただけますと幸いです。

刺し子、こぎん刺し、ダーニング、てまり、刺繍など、幅広くお使い頂ける綿糸です。
大切に染めていますが、手染めなので色ムラがあったり、糸の継ぎ目がある場合があります。
濃い色は色落ちすることが可能性としてございます。
また、染める際の枷により色の違いが見られます。
手染め、手仕事ゆえですが、ご理解いただける方にお求めいただけますと幸いです。
なるべく実物の色味をお伝えできるよう努めて撮影していますが、ブラウザの違いなどにもより、若干の違いがみられる場合があります。

This set is inspired by Ukifune, a heroine who wavered between two noblemen amid the mist of the Uji River, and ultimately chose a quiet ending by her own will.
Her fleeting yet beautiful story is expressed through these threads.
Soft lemon yellow suggests a single ray of light guiding her fate.
Gray and orange shift like the evening sun reflected on the Uji River, where cool and warm tones meet and create depth with each stitch.
A blue-toned metallic thread captures the shimmering surface of the river under morning light and moonlight.
A multicolored variegated thread reflects Ukifune’s elegant robes and her conflicted emotions beneath—passion and restraint, love and hesitation, intentionally left unresolved.
Pale orange-beige tones evoke the calm morning light of her secluded life at the end of the story, layered for warmth and quiet depth.
Muted antique pinks fading into deep coral recall the lingering presence and faint trace she left behind.
Across a thousand years, Ukifune’s presence has never faded.
I offer these threads as fragments of her story, hoping they will come alive again through your stitching, becoming your own version of Ukifune, gently accompanying your quiet handwork.
